Tikkun Olam -- Healing the World

Brian, It was interesting talking with you a short while ago.

Psychics and people of faith say that we all come back, and some of us come back to teach a lesson. The homeless person on the street has sacrificed this life to hopefully teach compassion and tolerance to others. The homeless person, if he or she would know this, might ask, "why should I try to improve my life if I came back to suffer to teach this lesson"?

The answer is that if one is spiritual, the suffering is only part of the lesson. The most important part is to overcome. We must examine our flaws and try to fix them. Then, in the next life, we come back to a better existence.

I am Jewish, and we believe in something we call, "tikkun olam" -- healing the world. We are supposed to give back. A lot of these troubled young adults, I suppose, never got anything to begin with, but I think that if they could get involved in helping others, they will greatly help themselves. I read a rabbi's words not too long ago. He wrote that if we think that we are helping others by doing good works, we are not totally correct. By doing a kindnesses to others, we are really doing a kindnesses to ourselves.

Personally, I was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis (MS), over 30 years. I can still walk, but I am mostly in a wheelchair. Despite this, I am considered to have a mild case.

Two years ago, I was diagnosed with 2 cancers at the same time -- ovarian and breast. I went through major surgery, minor surgery, 6 chemos and 33 radiation treatments. This was all emergency so I didn't really have time to examine alternative treatments, not that I could afford them. I defied the doctors during chemo by following the advice of Ralph Moss, PHD, (cancerdecisions.com). I took every vitamin and supplement he recommended.

Unfortunately, I discovered through genetic testing that I inherited a bad gene, so I could get sick again. Nothing I did to be healthy would have made a difference.

I am 55 and am youthful looking. I never looked better than I did during chemo. I believe it's because I have been using homoeopathy for ten years. I have a medical intuitive.

The point of this story is to say that if I have anything to contribute to your website, it is that I have never, ever lost my sense of humour. Young adults today seem to lack a true sense of humour. I have a niece and two nephews. They are all very smart and well behaved. However, if I tell a joke, they look at me although I am a complete nut! I still don't understand what makes them laugh. Perhaps what troubled people need is laugh therapy. There is such a thing, and apparently, even if you just laugh for no reason, it is therapeutic.

People are growing up today in a declining society and don't seem to have a lot to be thrilled about. What seems to amuse them is their own cynicism.

I think you and I are the 'me generation'. This next generation goes far beyond that. They don't think of anything else but themselves.

Again, I think EFT, www.emofree.com is a very good tool and works very quickly. Vietnam vets who were hospitalised since the '70's were cured from ptsd in 10 mins.

Also, I mentioned rubbing evening primrose oil on your wrists and keeping all preservatives out of your foods, to treat ADHD.

I will make an order today on your website. Unless, I change my mind, a woman's prerogative. I'm ordering your Nutricare Plus 4 oz Pure Emu oil at www.mybon.org . The Canadian dollar is not too great now. As you can imagine, I have a lot of health related expenses.

Good luck with all of your good works!

Take Care,
